Our planet has succumb to and suffered from many natural disasters over the recent years. Thousands of lives have been lost through tsunami, earthquake and other unavoidable and catastrophic events. Poverty continues to impact on vast areas of the population and conflicts around the World continue to have an adverse affect on the lives and financial strength of a number of countries. It’s through the immense generosity of the general public in the UK that many of the disasters from around the globe have been had their environmental and financial impact substantially reduced. Whilst lives cannot be replaced, families can be supported, medicine provided and homes, towns and cities rebuilt.
